Buildvale worked extremely hard and professionally to achieve a first class finish. The work included a double garage conversion, extension to our entrance hallway, and splitting our existing lounge into a family snug and home office space. Great communication on a day to day business helped us as the customer to understand the challenges faced by the team and we were able to make decisions together, feeling included in the process. With any build there are always bumps in the road, but for Thomas there were never any problems, only solutions to be found and agreed on - this brilliant attitude helped us feel reassured and less worried during the stress of the build. We are really happy with with how things have turned out and I wouldn't hesitate to use Buildvale again or recommend them.

Buildvale have just completed our double garage conversion and new kitchen fitting.
The work was completed to spec, very quickly as promised and to a very high standard at the price agreed. Friendly, organised, quiet and tidy as well. You hardly knew they were there!

Buildvale recently converted our garage into a fantastic and spacious playroom with a large built in cupboard. We had noticed Buildvale completing another conversion on our estate and were struck at how professional the finished outcome looked. We got in contact with Thomas at the start of the year and he quickly came out and gave us a comprehensive quote. Throughout lockdown Thomas kept us in the loop and once restrictions were eased we were very excited to get our conversion underway. Even when we hit an unforeseen hiccup, Thomas and the team kept us in the loop and came up with various solutions that resulted in us achieving the same end result.

Absolutely everything they said would happen did, it was a very well ran operation and perfect customer experience. Thomas and Paul recently completed our garage conversion.

We got in touch with Thomas prior to the Covid outbreak and the first impression of Buildvale was one of real professionalism and eagerness to make our pretty rough ideas a reality.

Despite the lockdown, Thomas kept in touch with us throughout and as soon as he was able to get back to work, he was back out to measure up the window and get all the prep work done. Work started within a couple of weeks with no delays and progress was quick. Thomas and Paul kept us informed of what was being done on a daily basis and introduced the electrician, plasterer, plumber etc to us as and when they were on site. Even little things like having a laugh with our 2 young kids during the job made their presence on-site feel normal for time they were here.

The job was completed on time and to a really high standard. There was a real perfectionist approach from Thomas and Paul on details that realistically, we wouldn't have noticed had they been done slightly differently.

The job was completed within the initial timescales/cost quoted at the outset (and much cheaper than comparable jobs done in our area) and on top of things, everything was itemised so had we needed to save money, it was clear where we could do this.

We've already had neighbours admiring the job that they've done and considering a similar conversion. I can say, without doubt, that if we need work done again in future I will go to Buildvale.

We carried out a wall removal with a load bearing beam being installed to create an open planned kitchen/dining area.

Buildvale were absolutely top class. From our first meeting with Thomas to discuss our job and get a quote drawn up we knew that Buildvale were the company we were going to use. Thomas offered suggestions that were appreciated and helped alot to get the finish that we desired. Not only were his suggestions based on his experience and expertise but he also suggested certain things that could be done to reduce costs and stay in our budget which was refreshing and appreciated.

When the building work started Thomas, Paul and the other trades were phenomenal, always ontime, always pleasant and very professional; even enjoying a chat over a cuppa bow and a again. The place was always left tidy at the end of the day and we always knew exactly what other trades would be turning up and when and what work was getting carried out.

Thomas always kept us in the loop at every stage and was happy to be contacted at almost anytime.

I like to think that I have a good eye for detail but Thomas and Paul way surpace me and considering the amount of work we had done there was not a single thing that I could find that needed attention, and believe you I looked.

I cannot sing the praises of Thomas and Paul loud enough. I would happily recommend Buildvale to anyone for any building works as you will get quality workmanship with a finish that I doubt could be beaten.

Buildvale recently completed converting our loft to form 3 new rooms. From start to finish Thomas and the team were absolutely brilliant. I invited 3 builders out to quote for the work and gave them a blank canvas to understand what could be achieved and how best to make the most use of the available space. Thomas was the first to come out and we knew instantly we wanted him to take on the work. He was full of ideas and made us realise the full potential of the loft space for our family.

Thomas provided an itemised costing at a granular level which allowed flexibility and cost saving on tasks we could complete ourselves. Throughout the build communication was fantastic and each day the team tidied up behind themselves. Thomas project managed the whole process from skip hire, clearing, joinery, electrics to plastering, and this was seamless to me. All the tradesman used worked to the same high standard as Thomas and were a lovely bunch of guys too.

As the owner of an old property I have had to call on the help of many tradespeople over the last 8 years, and without hesitation I can honestly say Buildvale are the best we’ve had the pleasure to work with. Thomas, Paul, Harry, Craig and Kev were fantastic throughout and the finish is brilliant and will make such a difference to our family.

Thomas/Paul and the rest of the team converted our garage into a new living/dining area. They knocked down a supporting wall that required steel beams and this didn’t phase the guys at all. They liaised with the engineer when there was a query and the rest of the work was done to a very high standard including moving the boiler into the downstairs utility. They were an absolute please to deal with and would not hesitate in recommending them.
